CRAF CORNER is made up of three different companies offering Finnish craft and design. It is situated on Eteläesplanadi 4. These products are created in many different regions of Finland, from Helsinki to Inari. Craft Corner is a popular attraction for foreign tourists, out-of-town visitors, and local customers.

OKRA

OKRA consists of 10 designer makers: Ceramic, glass, jewellery, and textile artists. Our individual and elegant products create a joyful and light atmosphere in our spacious new gallery. On display, is our members’ collection of unique and limited series products. Jewellery, studio and functional glass, wood, ceramics, felt, textiles and artefacts made from recycled materials.

ARCTIC PEARLS

The Arctic Pearls campaign supports and promotes the business operations of Lappish craft persons in the creative arts, helping them introduce original and innovative products to the market. ative arts, helping them introduce original and innovative products to the market. The “Artic Pearls” are represented in OKRA by themed presentations lasting 1-3 months at a time.

TAITO SHOP HELSKY

Taito Shop Helsky is the Helsinki branch of the Finnish Craft Organisation’s commercial outlet, selling high quality Finnish Arts and Crafts. Helsky presents a fabulous collection of the “Pearls” of Finnish craft, traditional regional artisanal products, the essence of Finnish culture, created from indigenous natural materials, by skilful hands, with insight and recognition of traditional values.

As well as traditional crafts, there are contemporary wood, ceramic and glass artefacts in the collection. Helsky has a wide array of home textiles; for interiors you can find lush blankets, soft furnishings, linen and cotton, hand-woven table linens, and for sauna, sitting cloths, bathrobes, and towels.
